I am an advisor who has worked with first generation and low income college students for more than five years and was a first generation and low income college student myself.

Who are first generation and low income college students, you ask? First generation college students are folks whose parents did not go to college. Low income college students are students from families with less financial means. And first generation and low income college students tend to have a tougher time in college and are more likely to drop out.

The goal of this blog is to provide a resource to support first generation and low income college students.
