Tons of first generation and low income college students attempt to study by cramming and pulling all-nighters. Um, both of these are really, really bad ideas.

CRAMMING
DOES NOT WORK! The main reason that cramming and all-night study sessions don't work is that you're not giving your brain the time it needs to process the information you're trying to remember. Cramming only commits information to your
short-term memory.
If you're at the point of cramming as a study method, you're already starting from behind. Might this be due to a little
procrastination? Following a regular
study plan is a much better way to go to have a great day of academic achievement.
