Today I was volunteering with a non-profit organization and calling first generation and low income college students about an upcoming event. Maybe 30 seconds into one call, the student casually mentions that he is in class... um, seriously? Did he really answer his phone in class?
I would think this goes without saying, but apparently it does not... Do
NOT answer your cell phone while you're in class. Just
don't do it!!! Answering your phone in class is worthy of being on the things professors hate list. Don't let this be you:
If you think it's an emergency and need to answer, leave class first and call the number back. Remember, you have voicemail for a reason!
